WAX ADDITIVE (IN STYRENE) FOR POLYESTER GELCOATS (Use in a Polyester Gelcoat to turn into a topcoat/flowcoat for external application) Solution MW is a solution of paraffin waxes in a mixture of styrene and white spirit. It is recommended for use as an additive for unsaturated polyester resin solutions. It reduces surface tack without affecting cure. Add at 1% to 2% by weight to the unsaturated polyester resin. Stir well by hand, or with a low shear mixer.
